Welp, found out that I spent $40 on a new water pump for nothing. That'* not where my coolant leak is coming from. It'* coming from the coolant elbow right above it. I guess this is a good excuse to upgrade to metal elbows with Delco O-Rings.

Coulda swore we used the O-Rings out of the Fel-Pro kit though.

The good news is that the water pump could have gone at any moment. When we pulled it off and rotated it by hand, you could feel that it didn't move free.

"An application you put in a couple years ago?" Most business'* hold onto applications for only a few months depending on if they are a seasonal company, then throw them out. But a couple of years? This guys got something for ya!

I was driving it down the freeway when a semi blew out a tire and my car was showered with tire bits.

The passenger side fog light is gone, and the driver side one is cracked. I made a call to the insurance company and tomorrow I need to take it into a shop that they recommended to me.

I'm sure you are quite pissed right now with all the work you have done recently. I would be too. Friggin truck drivers. Why can't they do a PTI like they are suppose to? Oh wait, I'm a truck driver. LOL.

I'm upset, but the insurance will take care of it. At least no one got hurt. A couple other cars got it worse than me. A tire removed a mirror, and another got had a hunk of tire sticking out of the head light.

The police said the truck was overweight.

I don't know how many tires a trucker can lose and keep going. I'm not a trucker.

He had at least three tires go, before he came to a stop. It happened pretty fast. There was plenty of other angered drivers.

Usually they only go when the tire has an issue/under/over inflation.

A standard 18 wheeler can lose 8 tires if its unloaded to make it to a safe destination. Legal? No. But, its at the discretion of DOT and the driver.

That reminds me. I had to dodge a gator that was taking up the entire right lane of I-85 in Alabama. Luckily I have a radio in my pickup so I knew it was there, but a car behind me nailed it. Guess he thought that was better than taking the shoulder like the rest of the traffic.
