Ya, long BEEEEEP of a dead O2 sensor. I'm just hopping if it was a short it didn't kill the PCM.

After a long talk with Bill he said, you know, between the two of us we've seen just about everything. And for both of us to be stumped it must be something really weird, or so simple we're missing it.

And another buddy offered the dead pcm gate suggestion.

I've had start, runs for 10 seconds and dies... actually..had a lot of issues before It will start, it will run. It'* simply a matter of checking a few things and swapping the broken part.

One of those items that makes you anal retentive about checking for wiring touching /falling etc in the future.

Ya, I'm usually good for that, but it looks like it dropped down. From what I can see it didn't melt the wire, only the outer part of the plug. I'll have to snap a picture.

Ok, that'* just cosmetic. How would that cause your O2 readings to go bad?

Here'* the other part of the plug, again, only looks cosmetic. There'* a discolored part of the wire that looked like bare wire, but it'* just been heated and browned a bit. I'm hopping it'* just a dead O2 sensor.
