def. the coupler[and maybe something else inside charger assembly]. it makes perfect sense. the harmonic balancer was bad and previous owner continued to run engine. slop from harmonic balancer was transfered vai belt to the other accessories, especially during start/stop. the supercharger internals are not designed for that added stress.

actually, i was draining two nose drives last night. my gf went to the base ment and told me the dog left a load somewhere, but she couldnt find it, lol. it was just the oil!

my electrical woes.

the electrical draw runs through the circuts feed by the 60amp LGT fuse in the maxi fuse center. hopefully i'll have service manuals soon and be more independant i bought them from a member here and i am just awaiting arrival from upstate.

in the interm anything common that usually fails and draws current on this LGT circut. looks like the radio, cig. lighter, and the like is on it from what i looked up. anyone have any tips on removal of dash trim bezel around radio. GM usually uses the clips and it just pulls off. i noticed a switch/lever of some type under the radio and would like to prevent breaking any clips/retainers.

With all the dash bezels I've torn out, especially on my car, over and over again, I know you just pull out. It goes around the top of the steering wheel, so you'll have to tilt it down to pull the whole thing off. It seems like you're having tons of fun.

i get an odd satisfaction from fixing things. it is unfortunate i don't get that same feeling when it comes to my turbo regal.

yes its a pure adrenaline rush when you finish a project and take it for a spin.

it really needs to be fully restored and i need to be able to buy my own garage before i can get into it. my father is not going to want it in pieces in his garage.
