GM usually uses the clips and it just pulls off. i noticed a switch/lever of some type under the radio and would like to prevent breaking any clips/retainers.

Nice job on bringing her back, I have done this on several cars in the past. Once bought a chevy for $50 that the womans mechanic said had a bad cam. It turned out to be a stuck valve.

charger and lower intake manifold are off. lower intake manifold gaskets look like they were about ready to give way to water intrustion. a single injector looks meh.

current state, wondering if i should do a water pump just because things are so open in the front:
old LIMm gaskets showing signs of imminemt water intrustion:
probably going to be an early alzheimer'* victim so if i plan on proper re-assembly i need to work like this:
contemplating going to work on car this am a bit more.
