Bill'*....let'* not play musical Gen V pleeeease.

Kudos for Rogue and INTENSE for being the best Vendor we have when it comes to service and warranty.

So getting back to the comparison between the Gen III and V.
I see that the nose drive and the lower intake manifold are very specific to the Gen V because of the bolting arrangement. I will post pics when I have more time.....another 14 hr day at work with barely enough time to pee.

This is not going to be as straightforward as I thought.

Um.. I just had a thought. I believe I read somewhere that you can use water injection with the Gen 5 because of the abradable coating on the rotors (hold on I will try to find it)

Pulled this of intense'* website for the MP112 which has the same coating on the rotors.

Quote:
* - Due to the new abradable rotor coating, no form of water or alcohol injection can be used before this supercharger. If you must inject, do it via direct port, after the blower.

I'll have a Gen3 M90 and a Gen5 M90 here shortly for a good comparison. Both will be here 'temporarily'.

But at the same time, part of the reason is that my next Gen3 M62 (which arrived yesterday ) will be converted in inlet flow design to more closely match that of the Gen5. Call it a Gen3.5 hybrid, and it should be possible to do on an M90 as well. In fact, that'* the direction Billboost went with his on my reccomendation. Some of the inlet porting he did was based on my knowledge of the GenV inlet design.

Water injection is good. It works. Paul will have his top-end off. It'* a simple matter of porting it into the LIM instead of the TB.

Well back to this comparison of the Gen V vs the Gen III

I'm not trying to steal Bill'* thunder by doing some comparisons before he does but I just can't hold back my enthusiasm for mechanical modifications.

Be patient Bill, your turn will come... :P

Notice the extra hold down bolt on the nosedrive.

Can you spot the differences

The l32 lim is excrutiating need of a major porting and polishing. There'* about 1/32" all around that can safely be removed. From the angle of the camera it looks like the bolt holes aren't centered but believe me, they are.

Do you see the nose drive end button. It'* a steel button and I don't know how to remove it to pull the pulley off.
