??? and ?..... Fast doesnt make anything remotely compatible for the NorthStar engine. They do make some nice setups and yes they include just about everything to strip an engine of its OEMl controls. But unfortunately they have nothing to offer the GXP.

Maybe nothing bolt on compatible, but I was reading in Hot Rod awhile ago when the new hemi came out, they were trying to run it through it'* paces, but the stock PCM kept limiting how high they could rev it, and timing control. So they put a magnetic sensor on the harmonic balancer (I think), then hooked some box up to it, then to the coils and they could control the timing independent of the factory PCM. I don't know what you'd do to control fuel, but I'm pretty sure FAST could be made to fit the timing part.

The Hemi Engine is somewhat programmable, The Northstar is not, even by a Dealer. What a R&D Team can do for a Magazine Article is quite different from what the average Car Owner can accomplish. For $12,000 I can drop the Venom off at Mallet and they will twin turbo a 440 HP version of the NorthStar, add a Marelli PCM, and custom tune it. The result would be Way over 500HP. For the Money,...They would do the same for a Honda Civic if thats what you wanted. The point I am trying to make is that we have been searching for ways that are sensible and affordable to the Club in general. Anything is possible, but We are not the Billionaire Boy'* Club here.

Sorta ya RAGXP but the car is relatively new, the LD8 lives on and I'm sure things will happen. I am patiently optimistic. An aftermarket replacement PCM seems the best opportunity to really make things happen. I'm sure the ton of software necessary to make the engine, tranny, T?C, StabilTrack, etc work makes it rough going. I have thought about paying the expense of a Marelli PCM but the programming end of it humbles me. I can turn a wrench alot easier than I can make my freakin laptop behave But as You have mentioned, an STS turbo with mild boost is within the realm of the OEM PCM . If I didnt already have the expense and time put into my NOS, which I personally like, I would be pointed in that direction. I've sucked more bottles of it down than I can count, none of the horror stories have happened, and she runs like a bat out of hell with it.

What about exhaust? Will a custom exhaust upset the car?

Hmmm...

Just so happens that I received a $12k discount when I bought my GXP.

Coincidence? Or Destiny?!

Default Suopercharger

A salesman at the Pontiac dealer said there as a aftermarket Supercharger kit for the Northstar motor but I cant remember what ompany he said it was. Also Cadilac makes a superchager for the Northstar and has them on that little 2 seater Cadilac that has 400-500 HP. but I cant remember the name of it.Its something with 3 letters like STX.I wonder if this supercharger could be a bolt on for the Bonneville?Does anyone know?
