well it did it again today. i have slightly under a half tank. wasnt braking hard at all. turned off the ignition, turned back on without a problem and i was on my marry way.
i also noticed my transmission possibly slipping? i was on my way home from upnorth and just randomly the car acted like it was in neutral. i could rev the motor but it wouldnt accelerate. i was doing like 75mph when this happened.
and again today i was taking off from a stop, motor revved, didnt accelerate, let motor go back to idle and was good from there.

Check your fuel lines going into your rails it might be leaking a tiny bit and losing pressure. I know it sounds strange but my car stalled again at brake up hill and I smelled gas, so I pulled over and popped the hood and there was drip drip fuel coming out from my rail and line connection. I got it replaced and so far so good. Best of luck and if that don't help I would consider getting a new fuel pump installed. Well let us know what you find out and best of luck.

well i went to autozone and had the codes ran...
P1870 - transmission component slipping.
P0102 - MAP/BARO or MAF/VAF sensor condition
P0446 - EVAP purge/vent solenoid circuit condition
so... clean MAF and add some lucas stop slip.
i dont have to money to replace/rebuild the trans so im kinda pissed about this car.
