Thumping noise from right rear while braking.
From 10 mph to about 2 mph I have a thumping noise from the right rear wheel that is in time with the wheel speed. This just started a week ago and is not consistant with each stop. Brakes were inspected 10,000 miles ago and looked good. I do not do any mods or performance driving. I await your most excellent response!

Well to me this could be a tire issue. does it do the thumping noise every time?? and do you get a vibration at a higher speed?? have you had any slips into a curb at all???

remove the wheel and the drum, I would bet you got a broken retainer spring.
I've gone through a cloective total of 5 on both cars (3 on the '92 and 2 on the '95 [one replaced dew to look and not actuall breakage] )
