94 SSEi : Clunking while braking
Gents
Took the Bonneville out for a good solid tour today before the insurance changes to "park it only"
When braking hard, I noticed a distinct clunking noise coming from the rear passenger side back tire area. I suspect a bad strut, since the car has a bit of butt bounce. The clunking is not constant (ie it doesnt happen everytime I break) and its definitely not anything in the trunk (its empty).
And ideas? Struts? Rear hub? brake drum issue?

I had a clanking sound when I first got mine coming from the same area. After a little investigating, found out it was the tire jack clanking around in the trunk. Openen up the compartment and it was n ot fully seated.
