Default dome thingy

If you have electronic climate control, it is the solar sensor, if not, it is a dummy part (just a piece of plastic to replace the sensor). At least that is what I was told last fall when I posted the same question.

Default Dummy Dome

That dome is a flashing red light to show that your security system is on. it flashes 24/7 whenset, so no one uses it.

I only know what it does in my car. It is for the Stereo security system.

I'll admit I haven't read all 4 pages, but Bob, if we're talking the dome in the center of the dash, your 96 is the same as my 93. It'* the thermal sensor for the climate control. Not a security device.

If the twilight is on the left, ECC in the center...When some people have both sensors or something, but not the corresponding parts. Wierd, I always thought that the dome in the center was the Compass sensor....ECC is inde the dash or something, not the foggiest idea to tell the truth, that was just a guess, and the twilight sentinal was the little penny sized button thing on the left.....Not that my Sentinel works anyways...
