yet we also have people on this thread with SE'* and NO dome sensor. perhaps we can find a correlation in model years and the presence of an unnecesary sensor?

yea my SLE has the Manual CC and does NOT have the sensor

I checked my 96 SE without DCC. It has the dome, but I pulled off the dash strip and there is nothing there. It is just an empty dome. Could it have anything to do with the dash board color. Mine is tan (neutral) and it has the dome.

mine is tan and no dome

Only later ones have them.

93/94 are later?? (Look up at the rest of just this page)

My 93 don't have it I've only seen it in 94+
