Took the car to buddy at speedy, he was a good guy charged $60 cash for cv axle and said to me it was a real bitch and I would have been lucky to get out at home.Took core back and got my cash couldnt be happier about takin it in rather than doin it myself.

Since the CV joint failure was attributed to a compromised boot, the other side may or may not be good to go for many more kilometers.
