The article sounded kinda vague to me. But, I have even less faith in the news media than I do in the government.

Did you all see the movie? Tried to make him look like he was really doing his job. D.C. 9/11 or something like that.

Agreed! Most of those pukes won't report a cat-in-a-tree story unless they find out the lady who owns the cat is on welfare and can't afford a ladder. Then they can blame Bush and its big news.

p.*.

Maybe the mods could look into the possiblity of banning political posts. This thought becomes common on many boards as they grow.

This is in no way a slam against randallons, as he has a right to his opinion as do I. I just feel that it fits this board better if we keep politics, religion, etc. out of the loop and keep our arguements to clear corners, cheapest/best intakes and whether or not Burgundy Boat should get a Pulitzer prize for his stories.

I'm leaning that way Jay.

There are plenty of forums out there to discuss poliitcal beliefs, no matter if its equal rights, political leanings, gun laws or whatever

Its something that makes life interesting yet pits people against each other, but, I can only moderate, not enforce. I leave that up to Jeff, Bill and Don.

I agree...despite one of my threads accidentally turning into a debate ...I definately won't be continuing it, nor did I intend it to go that way. But like you said, that is all up to the admins.

See, I'm admin at another forum (and a post *****, with 4700+ posts since July '02 ), and the way it works is that political and such threads can be posted... debates can occur... but the second it becomes a fight, bam, lock. Repeat fighters, well, get banned. It seems to work well, I'm sure it can work here... the forum I hang out is a bunch of crazy teenagers

You know, Hails, as much as I respect everyones choice of political backgrounds and personal opinions, they lead to heated debates which can be ok.

I will keep a close eye, keep up the good work tho ok

If you guys look up in the corner you will see that this forum is called the Bonneville Club, meaning that its all about the bonnevilles (and other H-bodies ). I dont really think we need to voice our political opinions on here, unless there is a separate room for it. We have alot of posts as it is...
