Yup. It was a little un-chilly today. Tomorrow too.

What is 'normally'?
And when (until yesterday) did I have a wideband O2 to determine what 'normal' is? LMFAO!

WOT is pretty close to 14.5ish. GETTING to WOT under load in the mid-rpm band about halfway to 3/4 of the way to the shift is about 10% lean based on AFR'*.

So to put it simpler, I'm 'efficiency lean' slightly. Not 'performance rich' slightly.

OK that'* what I wanted to know.
14.5 at WOT is lean
I am at 10.9 which surprises me. I would have thought that it was leaner......and that is after I reduced the fuel pressure to near stock levels. I was running richer last year but that was with the Gen 3 and this is with the Gen 5.
Does that make sense :?:
I would have thought that I would be moving more air now and should need more fuel. :?

A little off-topic Paul, but the GenV doesn't move more air. It moves the same amount of air more EFFICIENTLY. It takes less power to produce the same amount of gain, and develops less heat. So a GenV will produce the same amount of BOOST as a Gen3, but with a slightly larger pulley which robs less horsepower to turn it, and produces less power-robbing heat.

This is why a GenV is really one of the LAST mods you would do. You won't gain as much from going to a GenV as you would dropping from a stock pulley to a 3.4".

The farther you go, the more expensive it gets per horsepower gained. You know that as well as I do.

This isn't John. This is willwren on John'* laptop at WCBF.

I'm not 14.5 at WOT. I'm 14.5 at idle. I'm 12.2-12.5 at WOT with a 2.3" pulley on ported heads with rockers and other flow mods.

And I still have room to move on the AFPR.

In fact, I just pulled a 200' burnout on an old country road with Laura (Mrs Silverbullet), Myfirstbonnie, and nursebonnie (his wife) in the car with zero KR.

The noise was heard from over a mile away at the KOA.

sseimatt93 went out for some scans with me today, and confirmed 0 kr on a 2.2" pulley in 85 degrees ambient air temp.

I don't discuss performance or mechanical mods via PM. The idea of a forum is to post the information publicly for the benefit of all members. If you have questions or comments, post them. Don't PM them.

My response for the next week will be slow. I'm attending a national meet.
