Default Zilla cosmetics with a couple mods......

Finished up installation and calibration of the Cyberdyne Boost/vac gauge and MAP sensor, and the wideband O2 install/calibration in the new 'knee pod'.

This is a GP Hud Pod modified with a little fiberglass magic to fit the location.

First up for your whorage viewing, is a little traction problem. There'* no such thing as 'nudging the throttle' on the Zilla any more. Ramp modifications are planned to prevent this in the future:

Wideband O2 sensor install (MAP sensor not pictured, the other thingy is the exhaust cutout control harness thingy):

Pardon the mess, it'* cleaned up now, and the Zilla is the commuter car for the rest of the week.

On a techincal point.......the good news is NOT that I'm running lean. The good news is that I'm running lean on a LINEAR scale. Not overly rich at the bottom end and lean on the top like I thought, but evenly lean across the board. Sounds like an easy tune with bigger injectors.

LOL at the "no more nudging of the throttle"

I bet Lil Pooky must have said "Come up a bit more... TOO MUCH TOO MUCH TOO MUCH!"

Looking great and the pod ls pretty good.

You're going to have a hard time keeping your eyes on the road with all those numbers to look at.

Completing your mods just in time for the Meet.

How lean are you running :?:

Running 5-10% lean across the board. Tomorrow'* commute will tell me more. Final mod to come, it should solve my problem.

I'm already there, Paul.

Ported heads, LIM, and supercharger, added to the 1.8 rockers and good exhaust? I'm outflowing the capacity of my stock injectors with a 4bar fuel pressure.

Are you planning on running flow matched series 2 L67 injectors?

I'm also curious what is planned injector wise....I'm guessing modifying the fuel rail mounting is going to be necessary?

No modifications necessary, and no, I'm not looking at 36lb injectors. That would be horrific overkill, and I'd have to back my fuel pressure way down.

I can go with a smaller injector than 36 at 3bar, and still adjust them over 36 at 4bar.

There is a misconception in the 'tuning' world that bigger injectors are always better for power and seem to be some sort of bragging right. I'm going with the injector size I need, with a little wiggle room, and room to adjust with my FPR. No more. It took a LONG time to outgrow my stockers.
