I was in for a big surprise as I removed the large nut at the dryer/canister looking thing. An explosion-like event occurred as I pulled the line out. There was a lubricant spray of a 15 foot diameter that extended on the pavement as well as on most of the windshield. Oooops.

Some progress has been made. The engine compartment has new paint but there is some problems. Due to the amount of rust that was in the area, the guys decided that an undercoating would be appropriate in certain areas. It seems as if the coating didn't have enough drying time and the solvents prevented the paint from adhering in certain places. The bubbled paint will be removed and reapplied tomorrow. Wow. This project just gets better and better. I can't wait till she'* done. That'* going to be the cleanest L67 swap out there.
Way to be patient. All this time will pay off in the end.
