guys, it has been 95 for 2 days in a row..ok..maybe more. The white bonne just left on a tow truck aiming for the body shop to fix up the frame mount and some sand blasting in the engine compartment.

JR...yeah..it came with the TAM. I'm thinking they were prepping to use that setup and didn't. I bet you are outside right now looking at your 91 with a flashlight.

Hmmm...

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was. Perhaps others can check their 88-91s. I'm curious to find if 90 was when they started and continued through the end of this body style.

Torque axis mount? What the hell is that for?

I'll go out and check my '89 tomorrow. I'm guessing this mount is just the the peice of metal you are tapping the new holes into? I'm also guessing that not having the mount would make this alot more difficult?

Excellent work guys! Glad everything has gone pretty smooth to this point.

At least one will have to be changed and I'm considering doing the rest too. The others looked pretty good but I guess it'* tough to tell the condition just by looking. I even thought of changing the control arm bushings at the same time. That will be another project.

Captian, the torque axis mount is a motor mount that attaches to the front of the motor near all the pullies and bolts to the unibody a little back from where the battery is. The tap in the pic above is in one hole, there are two kinda close together below that one and one more to the right. These began in 92 even with the L27 motors. The 87-91s do not have one. I'd appreciate you checking your car when you get a chance and report your findings.
