i had grased up the windows on my old 82, after that the things went up and down like new....it really does work...even on my 96 it did wonders...just something to do if u have the door panels off (the window fell off the track on the 82, and puttin new speakers in the 96)

thats just my $.02

Oddly enough, the windows on our '99 Montana are painfully slow, while the windows on my Bonneville (and my '90 GP) are fast as hell.

I need to share this one for all you 88-91 guys. I commute to work with a buddy and it was my week to drive. He'* only going in and going home with another buddy...cool.

I hop in the car in the afternoon, gorgeous day drop the windows.....except the drivers window goes down a 1/4 inch and stops, I know enough not to force it..so up and down a few times...only 1/4 inch...hmmm that is the door I changed the mirror on so maybe something moved and is in the way.

Get home...take panel off and check track etc. 1/4inch only and nothing blocking it anywhere..WTF???? Then a thought hits me and I pull the weather strip away from where the anti-theft stickers are on the back of the window and zip..right down and right back up.

That morning while waiting in buddies driveway I decided to dispose of the sticker...the goo was still there and that was enough to stop the window dead. Goo gone, 5 seconds and the window was fixed.....DOOOOOH!
