it sounds really dumb
what if there was a box that surrounded the intake tube that coul be filled with ice to cool down the air

it would probably be better to have a metal intake and i realize it would onlybe helpful in short stints like just at the dragstrp

I think it would just add needless weight & would be a pain to keep full of cold water.
But your idea sounds good though.
How about straight Oxygen injection from a small tank (simular to a NOS tank)?

It'* a good concept, but it needs to be improved upon and engineered. Maybe something from the compressor for the air conditioner can run cold air over the intake.
