Yep. Fighter/Attack-22 Raptor Air Dominance fighter. That thing is mean!! Has a radar cross secction the size of a sparrow, does over Mach 2. Just freakin' amazing!!!
I got goose bumps.
They closed down the air base in the town next to me
about 8 years back.
Every couple of years they would have air shows and
When the jets flew over head I got goose bumps then.
I miss those shows.

. Yeah, I've been in the USAF for 4 1/2 years now. I got the opportunity to personnaly see some of those in action out at Nellis AFB in Nevada recently...let me tell you, those Raptors make the F-16s at our base seem like the Red Baron'* bi-plane! You have never seen anything until you've witnessed one of those things instantly go into a straight 10g vertical climb when they are already doing close to mach 1! Talk about instant pants-shi*tting...its seriously nuts. And believe it or not, in actuality they are HUGE when you see them on the ground. All the footage makes them seem like some small little fighter, but they are easily bigger than an F-15 Eagle, and thats no small jet! The thrust-vectoring technology that they use is nothing short of remarkable. I guarentee that those will turn pretty much any modern-day fighter into swiss cheese, save for maybe the Russian SU-37, which uses similar thrust-vectored engines...it MIGHT pose a little bit of a challenge, but they ain't got the stealth OR the speed, even with full ABs going. No Russky is gonna get the better of the USAF'* F-22, no matter how close they come
