AWD Grand Am..... you know you want one...
Check this out, AWD Grand Am, scary crap coming from GM now, especially from the Pontiac division.

I don't know where this guy got his info from, but the 2004 Epsilon-based Grand Am powerhouse will be a GX/P format:
3.4L SUPERCHARGED. No 6-speed manual and definately no 270HP. That is the GTO-GP-Bonneville range.
In talking to GM factory reps (friends of my dad'*, who worked for GM HQ for 35 years) THERE ARE NO PLANS FOR AN ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE Grand Am. There will be a convertible involved as the Sunfire leaves and the GA becomes the intro car for Pontiac. There will also NOT be any Grand Ams sold over the $28,0000US price point. There'* not enough car there to do so.
The Mote Carlo is getting the 4.4 V8 in 2005, but those are unconfirmed rumors...no one'* talking about that one. The Impala will go RWD in 2005, with the Bonneville and the new STS. The SS is said to have the 4.4L, but there may be (wink, wink)some sort of induction involved, i.e., turbo or SC. Ouch.
