who said you had to have the fastest car out there.
take a look at some of the cars that did the run in 2006

99 monte carlo
91 taurus
? crown vic
72 monte carlo
02 thunderbird
66 chevelle
95 caprice
69 amx
89 thunderbird
02 grand prix
70 cyclone

hell it would be fun in a 61 cadillac, not to fast but fun nonetheless.

Those cars are for the most part piles. I guarentee they only would be allowed to run the half mile. I think Jason was just pointing out that we would not be allowed to run the full mile, but the half mile like the above cars.

this is for 2006, it looks like the road course is differnt each year.
i'm talking about the road race
leg #1 28.7 miles
leg #2 26.6 miles
for a total of 55.3 miles of (go as fast as you can)
but don't kill your self doing it, but have a blast
and YOU CAN"T GET A TICKET out on the highway.
