I am concerned about your choice of engine. I believe there were some differences that made the two engines incompatible.

Well, now that I look in to it, this thread tells me I'm wrong: 3.8 RWD using a 3.8 FWD - 3800Pro.com Forum

It comes down to your skill level. What have you done mechanically, and what are you capable of?

Which engine size is in the GP, and what engine size is out of the Firebird?

FWD 3800'* are 'different' then RWD 3800'*. For instance, the intake manifold is setup differently and will not work in a FWD environment.

Like the others said, what is in the GA?

Good catch!

I was assuming 3800'* in both.

For reference:

1999 GP had a choice of 3.1 and 3.8
2000 Firebird had a choice of 3.8 and 5.7

Also, I'm curious of the purpose of doing this. Bad engine in the GP? Or looking for an upgrade? . . . or . . . ?
