Hello Tech ll, I had vacuum to the cluster or harness of colored wires, I was able to unplug the light purple line from the orange connecter and had vacuum at that point, therefore I am in the process of getting a new HVAC programmer box from ebay, how do you get the harness of colored line off of the box? Do I have to open the box to disconnect the lines? And if so, I assume I will have to do the same with the new box to reconnect the harness

I guess i need to research the fuel and ignition circuits. Any diagrams? I think i need to fix the security light issue first before replacing bcm and or pcm? I have a question tho. Why cant my bcm or pcm be reprogrammed on the car? This ol car is a 1999. I wonder where I should stop trying to fix it and junk it? I just put a 1700 tranny in last summer.

thanks for the diagrams. i checked key with vin just to make sure right key. Key registers correctly in car. I checked it at input at bcm connector. I get five volts and drops to 2.5 in start. then returns to 5 volts. would bcm be bad?

Sorry did not notice your message up in the top right corner....surprised you opted for a rebuild instead of another motor from a recycling yard......hope you have a manual and follow it to the letter.....
