Anything is possible with the right money. Example, Mallet Ltd has put Northstars and now LS2'* in Solstice'*.

For $20,000 they will practically put any GM engine in any model you prefer. That said, it could be done but not practical or cheap. Not just the drive train has to be changed and mounts accommodated, harness'* and electronics between a 2000+ and 2009 arent even similar. They are getting more and more complex with every year that goes by.
