Default Buick lasabre transmission

So a buick lasabre 3800 (series one) uses a 6 speed manuel transmission could I use this for my bonnie? If mines a series one ?

They do?

I know the Getrags will fit a 3800, but you won't find one of those.

The search term you will be looking for is "F40 swap" for the 6-speed.

Also do research on how much power and abuse they can take, and make sure it is compatible with your end goals.

I seem to remember them being a bit on the fragile side.
