The rabbit hole has led me to the EBCM, which is funny because that is part of thew harness squirrels ate up years ago, and I thought I fixed each one well enough, I mean it worked for a few years, but I don't know.
I have wiggled a lot of harness'* and today the temp sensor is reading correct, but now the ac won't turn on, I disconnected those wires I was going to use to rig the ac, so it should not be the condenser.
So now I am not sure how one would even help me, buying a new vehicle may be a thing to come in the near future...

I'm afraid I can't connect how the condenser would have anything to do with the wiring . . . .?

The shorts or whatever first started making the ambient temp sensor show incorrect values, that would keep the condenser from being turned on, so no AC would work if the temp display read below like 40F.
Today I put the sensor back and stopped using a resistor, because I moved a lot of wires around near the BCM, wiggled harness I mean..
Now the readings on the DIC are correct again, but the condenser would not come on when it said 75F out, which it normally would...

Ahhhh . . . the compressor. Now I've caught up to you.

At this point, next step would be to go through the wiring with a wire diagram and test meter.

Yeah sorry meant compressor, after working 12 hours then trying to figure out the issue is tough.

I read somewhere that the EBCM can go bad and cause the errors I am seeing on the DIC, but if it is bad it has to be sent off and repaired..
So I'll look over the wires going to the EBCM that I repaired years back when the mice ate them up first, then see what I can find for electrical diagrams in my FSM'*..

That'* cool. I've heard of a lot of suspected "bad" BCM'* over the years, and almost never heard of an actual bad one.

Sorry I am deff not an HVAC guy, I meant compressor.
And you were right before I believe, trying to get it to work via the relay was not a good idea, new compressor arriving tomorrow.
I did go in and remove my radio, jiggle some wires, and remove some unnecessary wires from the radio, and now the ambient temp sensor is working, albeit runs a little high it sems fine now.
So it has me wondering, because as soon as the compressor died, and I jiggled some wires, the ambient sensor started working.
I did not ohm out my compressor to check it, but the clutch spins freely, so I am pretty sure I nuked it...
