porting the LIM on a L36 must give some top end also from the better breathing so you have both

For all you daily drivers, looking for great mods for DAILY driving. We NA'* have good top end. Most of us are looking at creating better off the line low end torque. This really sounds promising. Especially when not losing top end. As a matter of fact, I think I will try it myself. My car is stock. This will be the only mod other than mild shift kit on this car. I will have a butt dyno for you by next Wednesday. (hopefully). Stay tuned....< get it?

Oh I did.
He'* a good friend of mine and he will admit the same.
I don't bullshit. Find me one other time when I did. I have nothing to gain.
It doesn't matter! The L67 already has low-end. HV all you want for the top-end gain! Same with the L27! Already has low-end. It could also benefit with some top-end mods.

But the L36 is completely different. It already has top-end, and would not benefit as much. L36 owners, as was just mentioned by kaldergrosse, are looking for a way to open up the bottom end.

So, the L36 will benefit more from an LIM port job than it would the HV. Only the L36 here!

Please, read the whole post! I know you have some good reading comprehension, just gotta read the whole post.

You're comparing apples to oranges, bud.

I did read the whole post. Maybe you're not understanding what I'm trying to say.
Port Matched LIM vs. HV3 comparison isn't necessary.
Obviously, cleaning up casting errors in the LIM ports without opening them up much more will benefit the entire RPM rage.
If you don't want to make any sacrifices with your low end, this mod is GREAT.
Of course, the HV3 will shift your powerband up. It shortens the intake runners by a few inches. If you want to go fast n/a you HAVE TO sacrifice some low end for top end. The HV3 adds about a half inch to the HVII which means there is slightly less of a loss.
I had almost every bolt on there was (cam, heads, HVII, TOGs, etc.), and I matched my LIM 3 years ago.
I still had PLENTY of low end grunt.
HV3 doesn't equal dog off the line. I've actually had EXPERIENCE with an HV insert.

Two more (the last, other than a shortstar and northstar) throttle bodies were delivered today.

Harofreak00, you've made too many changes. Your data is worthless.

BonneMeMn, before you stick that badge on, we need to work out before/after data collection for the L27.

BOTH of you.....I STARTED smoothing the bores and stopped for two reasons. First, I was swamped. Second, if I started and stopped, you'd be more likely to finish it up.

Geterdun.

EDIT: we went from temps in the 20'* last week to 81 today. I NEED to get that power back...

You don't have to put it on your car. I'm not. Just tossed it in that personalized envelope for you. :P
