Merc V.... The latest and greatest. Goes in the new Ford tranny'*
My understanding is that it also contains better friction modifiers than Merc III. However I can't find anything on Merc III, so I just quoted some easily accessed info on Merc and Merc V. No numbers, but they like to talk it up?
Merc V
Merc I
*edit* I added some links above. Relevant or not, I posted em. I also have this to add. Maybe he should get the Redline Racing ATF seen here.
*edit* I suppose the high temp stuff might be okay...

Bob, I'll give you a call when I get out of work.
I hope to be finished by 1:00PM and I need to head over to the Chevy dealer for some seals for an input shaft, I have a trans that I'm working on that I can't install the input shaft because ZZP sent it without seals.
Yes, of course the last option would be to re-use the originals.
I need some gaskets and I never got the rear oil seal so I'll get that while I'm there.
Bob, if you want to head over to Chapmen on your way I'll call in the order and my mother can pick it up. Let me know.
