I know I want a higher gear ratio, but I've only been able to find a 3.69 for the 4T60-E so thats what I'm planning on going with unless I find a better solution. I might also just stick with the stock SSEi. Part of the reason why I'm running this by everyone

Just a suggestion to add to the parts list
Another car to get from point A to point B when the ssei is out of commission this time and the many times to follow after the work is done.

Your going to hate the 3.69 gears. There wayyy to steep for a low end torque moster S1 L67. Not only that your not going to get 3.69'* without a 65-hd diff conversion.
You can get a 3.06, 3.33, 3.43, and 3.73 IIRC with the 4t60 diff.

I'm pretty sure pontiacjeff wrote that.

Forget the injectors for now. Save money in the budget for later just in case, but you probably won't need them. Just drop in a new (OEM is fine, will support 400hp) fuel pump and FPR. Possibly a 92/93 FPR, but wait and see how the car reacts to the rest before 'solving' potentially nonexistent fueling issues.

[quote="vital49"]That'* a lot of mods for a car that you expect to go across the country with no issues.

Don't see how what I'm planning on doing is going to affect a steady long drive accross country aside from maybe making the gas bill a bit higher. It'* not like I'm going to be burning up the low gears at WOT for 3000 miles.

kicka** list. one concern, is the 3" exhaust a bit excessive? i thought i heard that 3" will cost you torque, even on an L67. perhaps im wrong.
