well lets see now out of 7 car the totals is the 1987 ford aerostar with the 3.0 V6 i went 119 mph in the 1994 dodge spirit i went with the 2.5 4 banger 115mph
with the 1987 bonneville i went 109
with the 1988 delta 88 royal i went 121mph
with the 1988 bonneville se the the performance package i with 126mph
with the 1990 ford sho with the 3.0 DOHC V6 % speed i went 146mph
with the 1994 bonneville sse with the COP PACKAGE i went 134 NO LIMTER'*
what do you think about that

My 66 Ford T-bird would only do 130 mph and that was at redline. It was stock with the 390 engine and 3.08 gears. Yours must have been modded.

Damn... I don't know my t0p speed, my speed0 gets pegged @ 85 mph, damn LE!!!
I guess the fastest would be around 1oo mph??? I can only guess because after I let off on the gas, it to0k about 2-3 secs to see the last mark on my speed0. The cars stablility was pretty go0d considering it was very windy. The fastest I have ever gone was around 15o mph in my friends '91 Accord, which amazed me because it only felt like 8o mph. [it was lowered 3" otherwise stock suspension ,n0 chip]

I don't know if I've just been "lucky", but I've been at 140mph on the dot with both my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT1 and my 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. I haven't removed any speed limiter so maybe mine just doesn't work on either car?? Anyway, just thought I'd throw in my two cents.

I am not sure the Grand Am has a limiter, I read about it somewhere, but I can't remember what it said, so I wouldn't doubt the Grand Am. For the bonneville the only thing I can think of is that you bought it used and it has an aftermarket computer in it, or you had your speed on kph and didn't know it. It has a limter so I don't know how it would go 140, although I have never personally witnessed the 128mph limiter on the SSEi, only the 110mph one in 3rd, so it is possible that it isn't there, although it is highly unlikely.

127 mph so the HUD said, twice. Wouldnt go any faster although it felt like there was more. i usually use 120 as my limit, been there a bunch of times. I been 175 MPh as a passenger in a Porsche 930 slant nose. I was only 17 at the time and it was my friend'* fathers. Lets just say i was whiter then the expression 'white as a ghost'. It * a lot scarier when your a passenger! i kept thinking we were gonna go airborn.
