Will !!
Shame on you, if you had your 13 year old in the car when you did 151 mph.
I've had my Firebird up to 155 but Bonne is still limited to 128, and I've been there with her.....but alone.

In my current SLE the fastest my computer has ever let me go was about 120-125'ish. Sometimes it let'* it go past the 109 and other times it won't let me go over 105.
I my old 1992 SE I was clocked at 119.
In my Lebaron back when it had the original TI block and internals and the original Mitsu turbo was crankingout 25+ lbs of boost (not very efficiently, but it was putting it out) I raced a 1999'ish Vette with an auto trans and I beat it from 90 to 130 (speedo indicates up to 125 and the needle was about where 130 would've been) and by the time I let off (I had the convertable top down -really stupid of me) I was running in the upper 150'*. When we got into town we stopped and talked for a minute and the guy in the Vette said he was doing 167 and he wasn't losing me very fast. He said that I was definitely the toughest competition he'd ever had and never thought I was going be able to keep up with him that well.
Later I sent my tire size, my gear ratio and my rpm'* to Ed Peter'* (A Chrysler engineer back in the late 1980'*/early 90'*) and he calculated it out to being between 155 and 159 (tires are never identically the same size between brands although they may be marked the same, especially if they are worn down compared to new).
Anyhow, I no longer take my Lebaron out for top speed runs with the top down, especially since it has a hell of alot more power now (TII common block, lighter shot-peened rods, JE pistons, Forged crank, bigger valves, better cam, bigger turbo, better intercooler, bigger injectors, reprogramed computer, bigger exhaust, ...........).
Just can't wait to take it to the track this year with it all tuned in. Do I here the 12'* calling me???/
