The cleanliness of that engine bay (and whole car) is mind boggling. That gasket maybe a PITA but be happy you don’t have that TA mount to deal with first.

Such a big difference between the stock stamp steel impeller and the Meziere aluminum beauty.

The meziere impeller is identical to the cast impellers on all my water pumps. Both cars have one like that now, and I have a new spare to be built into Zilla'* old motor as well.

Never seen the electric pumps after install. Looks cool, however, 1 question. What goes on with the belt? Does the pump still utilize the belt?

you use a shorter belt, and bypass it completely.

Paul, I think you might have to run the wiring a little different, I think it will interfere with the belt there.

The SC is back on now and the injectors are next to pop in.
Yes I will be going back to injecting Pre-Rotor It is decided.
I will run like this for the next year and tear down again next winter to inspect.
This will also give me a truer after SC temperature reading that isn't quenched directly by the shot of water.

Don't worry Haro. The wire is actually away from the belt path even though it'* hard to tell from a 2D pic. It sure has a nice wiring set up. Nothing to splice, just plug it in. Thanks INTENSE.

I am however planning to modify it to with a supplementary connection to my fans so it comes on also whenever the fans are on. That way I will have a true manual control coordinated with the remote fan switch.

The new belt is 4" shorter than the original now that it bypasses the water pump.

I think I'll store the old pump with pulley in the trunk spare tire well.......just in case.

Has anyone taken their fuel pump out with a full fuel tank. :?:

Will the fuel spill or should I wait until the tank is down to 1/2 full. :?
