OK ok, back on topic.

So the new upper control arms showed up for the Trans Am the other day for its front suspension upgrade. It goes under the wrench on Nov.30.

Still waiting for the Intense packages to show. +25 hp

And the DHP Powertuner is in the mail. +25 hp

I have a definite plan and will be running next year with the 2.9" pulley on the Gen5 with no other power adders besides the water injection system.
Hopefully the new belt tensioner from Hans is in the mail.

Goal 12.9 sec at 106 mph and a 1.8 60'

Over the Christmas holidays I will probably pull the engine on the Formula for a new cam and top end Spring freshening. Will decide then if I will bless it with the ported aluminum Edelbrock heads and high stall torque converter, but a good possibility. +60 hp
The cam I have in it now was matched to the original gearing that was upgraded years ago and dies above 5000 rpm. It will be pushed up to 5800 rpm.

Goal 12.5 sec at 110 mph and a 1.7 60'

My true goal next year is not to have the biggest baddest Bonne but to build my Formula where it will be quicker than the Bonne. That'* really the way it should be.........RWD > FWD.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Todays project involved installing a new delay wiper motor assembly in my Formula and then swapping the old Formula unit into the Trans Am.

Thanks for the drop point help Bill.
Because of its antiquity, the only supplier I could find was in the US and they didn't deliver into Canada.

Now I have wipers that work in the Trans Am.....since I will be using that as my daily driver now and even though I don't drive the Formula in the rain it has a fully functional, delay wiper system again.

My Formula was purchased by me brand new 30 years ago and is immaculate. I can loosen any fastener on it and then remove it with my fingers. Looks like it just came off the showroom floor.

It'* fine thanks, bearer of great news.

At least it works and will be effective in getting my car into tune.

Just doesn't look like it is going to be a long term investment.

The Meziere water pump showed up. A beautiful red anodized baby with plug and play hook up. I will also wire it to work with my remote fan switch.

And so did the 42.5# injectors with Walbro fuel pump. \

Thanks INTENSE

Had to change out my Jeeps oil pressure sending unit today. It'* reading much better now.

The water pump will be connected so it works normally but when I want to turn it on manually with my fan switch or when the fans run on after the engine is off, the water pump will also run.

No, I am not going to have it wired so it comes on with the ACC.
I would not have enough battery power cause I have to park and wait for Ferries for 2 hours and I like to listen to the stereo on ACC.

It will connect to my remote fan switch so the fans and water pump run when I want them to with the engine off.

Yes I will have to modify the plug and play harness slightly to have the desired effect.

Most, like even Todd, use the ACC to also run the pump but I don't want to drain my battery when listening to the stereo waiting in line 2 hours for the Ferry or stuck at border crossings.

I have begun learning how to use the Powrtuner and it'* not that bad.
So even if they are discontinuing it......that should make it more valuable :P as others will not be able to buy one like it.......it still works and will allow me to modify the programming to suit all the mods I have done to date.

I am fully confident that I will be able to break into the 12'* without NOS and on a stock cam in a 3800 lb SSEi.

Next summer, the time slip won't lie.
