Bullet's 2007 Winter Projects
Idle fuel trims should also be at 0 +/-5. All fuel trims should be near 0 at all times and especially when you go WOT. Err toward the negative side to be safe. Is that what you mean or are you talking about something else?
Yes, thanks Jarod.
That'* what I needed confirmation on.
My short term fuel trim is +/- 1 and my long term is +/-4
Fluctuating mostly negative.
Set to reduce the MAF output from 100% to the recommended 95% based on the calculations of converting from 36.5# to 42.5#
........after a few trials I ended up at 92%.

Oh ya.
Ran it again today for 20 minutes.
Long Term is -5 to 0 and Short Term is -3 to +1
I think that is spot on.
The engine seems to purr. It is running so good.
Coolant temp stablilized at 168F and Trani temp was 105 F
Engine Timing held steady at 21 degrees

It'* real interesting watching all the perameters change as the engine warms up and reaches steady state.
This is the first time I've been able to monitor so many variables without having to worry about actually driving it.
The other big noticeable change is there is no longer black soot all over my back bumper by my exhaust outlets.
When it'* cold, the Wideband shows the A/F at a very rich 11 to 1 but it doesn't take long to settle at 14.7 to 1
I used to run a 10.9 to 1 at WOT but expect now to be closer to 12 to 1
I am going to pulley down after some road trials in a couple of months but I still need some confidence in the AFC 1.1
Now the other subject of tuning.
I spent another couple of hours today trying to get the program for the PowrTuner. Nothing seemed to be working for me. Even when I tried to download the Driver for the Serial Port to USB. Even when I entered my special password. I think I downloaded the Framework program but can't seem to find it anywhere on my computer. Jarod sent me links and they went in circles.
This just might be my third biggest rippoff for Bonne mods. :(

Figures........except with duty and shipping it would cost me the same to get it here. Every time I order a $20 part it costs $35 for customs clearance plus $25 shipping plus $10 tax and even though a dollars are about par, the bank charges 4% for exchange.
I am keeping the holed liner and have riveted a rubber patch on it. That will be used when I am running with the bigger tires.
Actually I think the tires clear fine. When this happened was when I remove the belly pan for some track adjustments and didn't put it back on. Because the lower part of the inner liner attaches to this pan and provides support, when I ran without the pan, air pushed the liner into the tire at high speed.
Won't make that mistake again. :(
No.
