Yes, sandwiched b/t the LIM and the */c. The coolant passage under the t.b. are tapped and plugged.

It will be nice if you can probe the underneath of the SC...the theory is that the roots should be become more efficient.

Are the coolant passages there for emissions or for expanding/contracting the TB metals and gasket with the rest of the engine?

The passages are there to warm the TB to prevent icing at sub zero temps and also to cool the LIM around the EGR port.
It'* not a problem blocking them off if neither of those is an issue.

Looks great Jeff. You aren't the only one currently planning wood to house your intercooler. (No, not me either). What type of wood did you use?

Thanks. I may not be the only one, but I darn sure was the first! Anyone else doing it read about it right here, back in Jan this year...

Thanks alot Paul, I appreciate it. There is harder wood than the Maple (there is soft and hard maple, it'* really more cosmetic than anything, they are both damn hard.) Walnut is pretty damn hard, too.
