Matt... I can't believe the dirt on the valve covers from YOUR engine bay. Pat was drinkin last night...that could account for him telling you to shine up a flat gray plastic valve cover..lol.

EM'* on your 93 should have had the crossover as part of the front manifold. Unbolt the cross over at both ends and pull it out. Enjoy the 10mm bolt on the front manifold shield to dipstick tube. (Although Lash made short work of it... Myself, Don and Dbeast all whined about it.) To get the rear manifold out, I was able to remove the maxifuse cover and rotate it up and out the top.

The Vulcan Couldnt even remove all the **** on my valve covers! I had some good leaks!
I break cleaned the **** out of the covers, and they will be visiting the varsol tank tonight

I havent really Tried yet..but it looks like there isnt much room to get a socket on the rear part of the bolts on the crossover that is attached to the rear EM...

I needed a universal and a flex socket to get at mine, you need to lose a bit of blood too

If you can't do them.. with a deep 10mm and a ratchet...bring the car back to where you got it.

It'* very easy to get to on a 97.
