Okay, I removed the front Manifold tonight...
I unbolted the ICM, and unbolted that left side heat sheild.
I know what bolt you were speaking of that was hard to remove, right behind the dipstick, however, When I unbolted the dipstick mount, I went to move the dipstick over a tad, i gave it a tug, and it popped right out of its hole...that made TONS of room, now I just have to re install that dipstick tube.
The Marty manifolds in comparisson to the stock ones are opend up a bit more, thats for sure, I still feel I can have them machined a litle bit more.

It was much easier with it out of the way.
It made more room for unbolting that heatshield.

New pics for ya.
Here are the PEMS
I want Ideas, suggestions, warnings..ect from anyone here...
Mine are obviously the used looking ones
Here is my LIM with the new gasket lined up over it
I see how the port tapers off, Should I clean up the outlet so it matches the gasket?

I remember now. Your rear PEM didn't get any material added under the 'chin'. Your front will outflow the rear dramatically.
I suspect you may have similar issues to powerlog users.

Look at this one carefully. Can you see how if you're the exhaust gasses, you have to move up right after entering the manfold? Material should have been added UNDERNEATH each runner, behind the flange, so you could remove the restriction. This is your REAR manifold, and will not flow as much as your front.
Measure your port sizes front to rear. Even if they're the same, that rear was done incorrectly, and will not flow as much as the front. We looked at these at WCBF and diagnosed them there. I recall suggesting getting that rear fixed before use.

This is why I was confused, you are calling the front manifold the rear..the rear is still attached to the car.
So i need to talk to a machine shop
