Did you keep the extra idler in there, or is it possible to ditch it?

At all to remove the idler, the belt runs freely over top. In theory, should the day ever return where I replace the cooked compressor, the idler is back in business too.

We should get vlefaive and Erno Rubik together and invent "Rubik'* Belt". Sorry vlefaive, it'd have to be "Rubik'* Belt". "Vlefaive'* Belt" just doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well.
