I pay $499 and i'm poor now
Higher rent prices means better economy. When the economy is good the unemployment rate is low. When the unemployment rate is low that means housing is in demand near the jobs.

When housing is in demand, rents go up. That equals happier landlords!

guess who'* a landlord

and Wow you guys should try to live in the Bostom area.
you'd ***^ your pants at what the rent is around here.

I'm sure you NY guys know what I mean.

Yep. I was paying 850 a month for a 1 bedroom ILLEGAL apartment on Long Island (and it was only that cheap because I knew the person).

Now, I pay 600 Dollars in Kansas City for a HOUSE with a garage.

where abouts on the island?

North Babylon / And or Centereach.

I've known ChilinMichael since he was like 8 lol.

So you're saying you can't wait to be OLD.

If not.

Get a good education.
Don't go into debt but if you do, pay it off fast.
Buy, do not rent
Keep your cars a long time. Buy, don't lease.
Work your job like a passion and accept nothing below your own standards. Change jobs every 5 years and have a career plan.
Drive Pontiac and don't defect out of country with your shopping.
