What do you pay for rent?
Just watching the news and here is Calgary, the average RENT for a 2 bedroom unit is $1089.00/month! We now lead the country :?

I miss Upstate NY. I had a 2-BDRM (apartment) with a balcony, nice view, nice and big, for $450/mo.
I have been looking at renting houses closer to work and the cheapest so far is a 2 BDRM for $1300 + utilities.
I give my brother $500 to live in his house. Way too damn much considering my location.

Average rent for a 2 Bedroom in Toronto is $1061.00/ month. Not much difference in pricing though.

It'* very, very expensive to live here right now. Our economy is booming and everywhere you look there are 'Now Hiring' signs. Alberta has attracted many people to the workforce, but there'* just nowhere to live.

Not that long back, there were stories on the news regarding home sales. People would call and offer sellers more than the last person (frequently well above the asking price) and in some cases gathered on lawns to out-offer each other in good old fashioned "auction" style.
