Higher rent prices means better economy. When the economy is good the unemployment rate is low. When the unemployment rate is low that means housing is in demand near the jobs.

When housing is in demand, rents go up. That equals happier landlords!

guess who'* a landlord

and Wow you guys should try to live in the Bostom area.
you'd ***^ your pants at what the rent is around here.

I'm sure you NY guys know what I mean.

Yep. I was paying 850 a month for a 1 bedroom ILLEGAL apartment on Long Island (and it was only that cheap because I knew the person).

Now, I pay 600 Dollars in Kansas City for a HOUSE with a garage.

where abouts on the island?

North Babylon / And or Centereach.

I've known ChilinMichael since he was like 8 lol.
and you own a Ford????

I think I win on paying the CHEAPEST rent....

I pay $75 yes thats right $75 for lot rent....
I own my trailor and only have to pay lot rent and utilities (about $800 a month to pay all my bills. Out of my $1200 I make a month) that equils out to about $100 a week for food, gas and work money. :(

My mortgage is $277. It use to be $350 until I refinanced while the rates were low. It beats paying rent. I would rather own. When I lived in Worth, IL I was paying $475 for a 1 bedroom apartment and that was in 1997.

That'* great if your rent is low. That means you can save more quicker to put into a fully owned property and home. The sooner you do it the better off you'll be. Got to build equity.
