i agree. just a little tint brings down the light output more than one would think.

I have blacked out orange side markers. These housings take a minute to switch out. I won't be left in the dark when it gets dark out. I rarely drive this car in the dark.

I'm pretty happy with these. I can't wait to put them on the car.

My dad is going to see if the automatic trans class at the University he teaches at can rebuild it. Then all I have to do is pay for parts. I leave Monday for basic training for the air force so I won't even need the car for the next 8 1/2 weeks. If I can't do that then I'll try some lucas treatment or brake fluid (don't question the brake fluid, it'* a bad idea yes, but my dad'* done it before to get a trans working just long enough lmao) to get it working long enough to get it to whatever dealer I wind up buying a new car from (I'm buying a brand new car after tech school). Last ditch option will be to find the cheapest used one I can that works and throw it in to trade in or sell.

Gotta replace the oil pressure switch, again.

The Delco one I bought failed within 2 weeks of install. Got a replacement Delco waiting to go back in it.

Also put a fridge in the garage foe service beer.
