everyone i have heard thats replaced that with a delco has problems with them. i replaced mine with a duracrap and its been working perfect for about 2 months now. my car runs at 45psi warm too. so i know its not that my car has low oil pressure. lol.

Meh, I'll ride the warranty as long as I can. It'* not like I can't order myself a new one whenever I need. Oh wait, I can!

I decided to go with Delco because the lifetime warranty one I bought 4 years prior had a major failure of breaking causing me massive oil loss. I hoped an OEM part would last me another 7 years like the factory one did.

my oem one did the same thing. i was about 20 miles from home loosing about a quart every 3 miles or so. i was just lucky i had an oil change jug in the trunk. it was actually leaking through the electrical connector.

i was surprised it was as easy as it was to change. just did it under the car while i was changing the oil.

Yep, mine was doing the same thing. Leaking around the connector. As much oil was coming out I figured that it had to have broken off or something.

Be careful if you have someone else do the oil change.
If they use a wrench to get the filter off or don't pay attention, they can break the Pressure sensor easily.

Someone else do the oil change? This doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, got it swapped out. Reading pressure again instead of being maxed out. Also rotated the tires.
