Removed the rest of my "Buick" windshield sticker. About a month and a half ago, the K fell off. I was hoping to order another one, but the seller didn't send another one, and no longer responds to my emails...

I also replaced the muffler on my girlfriend'* Cavailer today. It rusted and fell off yesterday. The funny thing is, even with no muffler, the little 2.4 sounded a hell of a lot better that 90% of the cars on the road with a fart can lol

Haha, let em. They can tear the whole house apart for all I care. Jokes are jokes.

When I worked at McDonald'* we did have a fake 10 come through, even based on the new design which I thought was bold. It didn't have a security strip, didn't have a second face, and the 10 in the bottom right didn't have the foil reflectiveness to it like the real ones. At a quick glance though, it looked legit.

My car hates me, this morning I decide to go a few miles to the store, and I notice I have a lot less gas in my car, then I smell gas really strongly, I get out at the store and see gas running under the rear passenger side of my car, I just filled it up too, and lost 1/4 a tank on the short drive home, I am glad I did not catch on fire somehow!

I found the problem, the line going from my fuel tank to fuel filter has a hole in it, sucks because the Dorman nylon fuel line tool I had to crimp new line and connectors on was sold because I thought I'd never need it again.
I started thinking, and dug into my stash of hoses and found some some proper rated fuel hose that was just a bit bigger than the fuel line, I also found one of my clamps made for fuel injection fuel line, so I cut a small piece of hose, then cut a slit to make it like a C that way I could slip it over the fuel line, I slipped it over the line, held the clamp and hose centered over the hose where the hole is, and tightened it down, re-pressurized the fuel line and see no leaks, so it is temporarily fixed, crisis adverted for now.
Now to come down from all the gas fumes I inhaled.

Yay I'm not the only one with a fuel line problem!

I still haven't fixed mine yet though.

I had to repair a fuel line on the Buick one winter..started the car to head out for the store, turned on the climate control and caught the gas fumes through the vents. There were two pinhole leaks an inch apart in the feed line, whizzing gas on the UIM. Thankfully there was no damage done, and I was lucky to find one parts store that had the Dorman repair kit in stock.

That'* why I leave the engine covers hanging in the garage, and keep a fire extinguisher in both cars.
