Its the DRL (turn signal) bulb and the corner marker behind the reflector. I have a couple pictures and a video that'* uploading now. That'* probably going to take 15 minutes or more..

Lights off:

both the DRL and corner marker are on, and flash at the same time.

When the lights are on, they flash opposite to each other. There, the corner marker is on when the DRL turn signal is off (just the park lights are on)

and here, the DRL turn signal is on, and the corner marker is off.

Here'* the video:

Oh! Mine already does that. Dang it, I was hoping for a new mod. (runs off to find something else to tinker with).

Haha. Does your rear ones do it too? I tried doing it to mine earlier, but I wired it wrong.. the corner lights come on with the turn signals.

I'm not really sure why that video didn't post.

Yup, I was right. Mine do the same thing.

I'd love to have the original Cougar tails that have 3 bulbs that flash in sequence. The newer mustangs do that now. Too bad our B-villes only have 2 lights, I'd figure a way to make them work in 3'*.

You can get wiring kits to make your tails sequential. You can get them for 2 and 3 bulb setups. I remember looking at them a while ago.. it was about $50 for the kit I think.
