I thought 1997 and newer, the PCM controlled the fuel slosh effect?

My 95 would go full if the nose of my car was pointing up hill, but went empty if it faced down hill. Same thing if I was at half tank, punch the throttle and I get a full tank, hit the brakes, I go empty.

It might be controlled by the PCM, I just assumed it was the SU.

That'* basically what my car is doing now, but it barely changed before, except on a fairly big slope. Now, I could have the car parked in my parking spot, pointing down just a little, and it could be on 1/8th, but once I start moving, it'll go up to 1/4 or even 3/8..

I might take my PCM out later to see if there are any dirty contacts from having it out a couple weeks ago when I was playing around with the pcm tray I bought..

The blazers are notorious for.sending units to go bad. Except the fuel gauge bounces all over.

I've heard about that problem in the Blazer. My friend had a '97 Blazer and an '02 Jimmy and had that problem with both.

I'm going to try to get a video of mine later. It makes me paranoid to drive when it gets low because I can't tell how much is actually in it when it gets below half. When it'* above 3/4, it don't move nearly as much (also makes me think its the sending unit).

Usually when its 3/4 and higher, it cant slosh around as much. My 95 was the same way.
