Changed my DRL bulbs from white to amber. Looks much better now. Also, did the 4 on high mod to my truck. Cost me all of $1 and is very necessary for when I install my HID bulbs.

the 4 high mod is great, isn't it. You'll really appreciate it when you get the HID'*. What was involved to do it on your truck?

Yeah, I dunno why they didn't come that way until 07 on the trucks. My car is that way with no mod.

I just used a diode and jumped 85 (switched power) on the low beam relay to 85 (switched power) on the high beam relay. This gets around the short that'* created when you flip the high beams on.

I originally tried to just use wire, but it had to be a diode so power could only go one way.

I see. I had to add a relay in my car, across the wires at the headlight. But apparently, something went wrong, and now it no longer works. I bought a new relay last week, I just need the weather to cooperate long enough to get the old one out, and put thenew one in.

i just fixed both slow front windows in my car. took both regulators out, and effectively the entire innards of each door.... in 34 degree rain. i figured i may as well fix them in their worst operating conditions. their both smooth as butter now. so happy.

Geez that'* some work. Luckily both of my electrical mods have been easy. My other one was disabling the DRLs on the Bonne. Just remove a relay from the fuse block and add a jumper so both high beams get power and work when I turn them on.
