They have a cap and rotor on the 4.3 of that year? Odd.

The 5.3 has pack on plug.

Yes, the 4.3 still has the cap and rotor. I like the 4.3, but seemed underpowered in a full sized chevy truck.

Fender stripes V2.0 and I attempted some eyebrows on my headlights with Plasti Dip. I haven't made up my mind yet, but they're probably gonna go tomorrow

I have always pondered why they still use the distributor systems. Such a PITA doing a tuneup on a Blazer.

This. I get 17mpg on the highway. The 4.8 gets 18 and the 4.3 gets 18. Move up to the big motor and have all the power. Unless you want the 6.0 or the Duramax, then you get the 2500HD.

Replaced entire A/C system in my car today. Went to the junkyard and got me a condensor, dryer, compressor and hoses for $100. Then spent $70 on R134. Total time, 3.5 hours.
