im soo glad i didnt do a garbage bag fix lastnight. we had a monsoon. that bag woulda been shredded and my car would have been filled with water lol

to be honest im impressed with myself and how clean it is. (auxiliary jack) i never expected it to work so well or look factory.

about 8 thousand. i took a million incase someone asked that question lol. if you look in the "how do you run your aux thread or whatever its called that i started there'* alot of info there, but for novice electronics repair guys like myself there arent enough details in the tutorial i linked to. ill work on getting a write up post in there within the next few hours.
if you have some thin gauge wire (24ish) a soldering iron and some shrink tubing, it only costs $3.25 us for this mod. thats what the jack costs. oh and you need a random cassette. im using an old ac/dc cassette thats all stretched out and sounds like crap lol.

yea it does. thats what made me get the aftermarket deck originally. this way uses the cassette decks wires but its cd quality because you dont have the cassette heads in the equation
Well, you may have just saved me from buying a new deck. I'm not sure if thats good or bad yet. lol It looks like the same aux jack is $6 here. I might pick one up next week, along with some wire. I don't think I have any that small.
